Does what it says and says what it does, October 5, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Bed Bug Cover Mattress or Box Spring Encasement Twin Size 39 X 75 X 9 Bed Bug Cover We have used other bed bug mattress products before and let me point out a few things about bed bug covers.
1) You have to make sure you are getting the right size
2) Make sure its woven or similar or you will hear rustling when you move and you will sweat like your on a plastic bag
3) Its best to get them before you get hit with the bugs as they can actually help you not get an infestation.
These covers are very breathable and are made out of a woven material so you don't feel like you are sleeping on a plastic bag.
These covers are NOT water proof (there are ones that are but they cost plenty more) they are water resistant and you wont even realize that you have them on.
When putting it on make sure that you stand the mattress up and pull the cover down over the top like a shirt going over your head not from the bottom up like a pair of pants. I made that mistake with a different brand and while it didn't rip it definitely puts stress on... Read more

Other covers I ordered felt like I was sleeping on a plastic bag.
The Bed-De-Bug covers say that the are "Woven for comfort" and its true! They are breathable yet still bed bug proof.
Bed bug covers can help prevent you from getting bed bugs as bed bugs like to sleep as close to their food (that's us!)as they can. If they cant get into your mattress Because of a bed bug proof mattress cover they will likely go into your linen and bedding instead. As most people wash their linen and bedding every 2-6 weeks. The wash will kill them before they have a chance to populate.
